GSC 2027 pricing and benefits–Registration now open

Please note that SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) has come into effect in accordance with the provisions of the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2). As an OIC Group customer, your payments will now be even more secure.

Terms & Conditions

Please read the following registration terms and conditions carefully before starting the online registration. Debits to your credit card will appear as O.I.C. Srl Florence (Italy) on the registration statement.

1. AO Spine members receive a discount on Physician/ Researcher registration fees—see pricing in the tables above. To benefit from the discount, you will need to become an AO Spine member before registering. Membership status will be verified by AO Spine. Be aware if your membership is not updated at the time of your application, the “non-member fee” will be applied.
2. Applications for the medical/research student fellows/residents registration fee should be certified by a letter from the head of the department to be uploaded directly to the online registration platform (in PDF format), stating that the applicant is a medical/research student fellow/resident at the time of registration.
3. World Bank classification. Please click here to access the list of eligible countries.
4. Industry representatives: Non-clinical professionals, with interests in the spine field, but are not treating patients.
5. The accompanying person registration fee includes a badge valid for the Welcome Reception in Exhibition only.

Sponsor / Exhibitor Registration

Representatives from sponsoring and exhibiting companies must register as participants. This registration grants access to all scientific sessions, with the exception of our pre-courses.

Confirmation

A confirmation email will be sent to each participant upon completing the registration process. Please present this email at the on-site registration desk to receive your access badge for the congress.

Invitation Letters

To request a visa invitation letter, you’ll need to log into the online registration portal and click on “Invitation letter request”. Or contact registrationGSC2027@oic.it.

Only participants registered for the event can obtain a personal invitation letter and only once the full payment of the registration fee is received. Invitation letters will be issued free of charge.
Please note that the visa invitation letter only aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Congress and it is not a commitment from the organizers to cover any kind of expenses or to provide any financial support. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference remain the sole responsibility of the participant. The conference organizers cannot assist participants with their visa application process and cannot intervene with embassies or consulates on behalf of participants.

Cancellation and modification policy

• Any change or cancellation must be officially submitted in writing by email to the Registration Office OIC: registrationGSC2027@oic.it
• For cancellations received by March 9, 2027 the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 30% that will be invoiced as penalty.
• For cancellations received by May 9, 2027 the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 70% that will be invoiced as penalty.
• No refund will be processed for cancellations received after May 9, 2027.
• An administrative fee of 50 EUR will be applicable for name changes. For the replacement of a delegate, written permission from the originally registered participant will be required, along with full contact details of the substitution.
• If you are unable to attend the congress after completing payment—and are also unable to transfer your registration to someone else—you must cancel your registration. To receive a refund, your cancellation request must be submitted by May 9, 2027.
• If you are unable to attend the Congress because you were denied a Visa to enter the country, you will be granted a refund only if you submit a copy of your visa rejection letter. The refund will be issued less the cancellation fee above stated.
• Please note that no refunds will be issued for additional fees paid for express shipping of invitation letters.
• Please note that registration fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation due to illness, visa rejection, or other personal circumstances. To protect yourself against unexpected situations, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.

Insurance

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance before attending the congress. Please note that registration fees do not include any insurance coverage, and AO does not provide insurance of any kind for attendees. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure they have adequate health and travel insurance for the duration of their stay.
