Nationals of some countries will need a travel-visa to enter to Japan. Participants should contact the Japanese Embassy or Consulate in their home country as soon as possible to confirm their travel-visa requirements. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to procure the necessary visa to attend the congress.

To request a visa invitation letter, please log into the online GSC registration portal and click on “Invitation letter request”.

Only participants registered for the congress can obtain a personal invitation letter and only once the full payment of the registration fee is received.

Getting to the venue by plane

Yokohama is served by two airports in Tokyo:

Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) – located around 15 miles (24km) from central Yokohama
Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT) – located around 50 miles (80km) from central Yokohama

Airport taxis

From Haneda Airport (HND): Takes 30–45 minutes.
From Narita Airport (NRT): Takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
